📸 iPhone 17 Pro: Major Camera Redesign Leaked
The iPhone 17 Pro is set to feature a major redesign, with a striking new camera module that could change the signature iPhone look. Leaked supply chain info suggests the rear camera bump will shift from the current glass to an aluminum material, offering a more durable and sleek design. The change could mark the most significant camera module update since the iPhone 11's square bump.
Key points:
- Redesigned Camera Module: The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will reportedly have a rectangular aluminum camera bump, a shift from the traditional glass design.
- New Layout: The leaker hints at an elongated oval shape for the camera arrangement, similar to upcoming Android designs.
- Potential Overhaul: A change of this magnitude could require significant internal adjustments, raising questions about the complexity of the redesign.
- Aesthetic Shift: If true, this would be the most notable shift in iPhone camera design since the iPhone 11's square module.

💻 2026: OLED MacBook Pro Gets a Notch-Free Redesign!
Apple is planning some major changes for the MacBook Pro's display in the coming years. According to a new report from research firm Omdia, Apple will move from mini-LED to OLED displays as early as 2026, and the shift will bring several exciting updates. Key Highlights:
- OLED Display Transition
Starting in 2026, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will feature OLED displays. This change will bring improved color accuracy, better contrast, and more vibrant visuals, similar to what we’ve seen on the latest iPad Pro.
- Goodbye Notch, Hello Hole-Punch
Apple will ditch the current notch cutout and replace it with a hole-punch cutout for the webcam. This design change will increase the usable screen area and prevent the notch from interfering with the macOS menu bar, improving the overall display experience.
- Potential Dynamic Island for Mac?
There’s speculation that the new hole-punch cutout could feature a Dynamic Island, a design element introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro, adding interactivity to the MacBook Pro’s webcam area.
- Timeline for Other Apple Devices
The iPad Mini and iPad Air are expected to switch to OLED as soon as 2026 and 2027, respectively. Meanwhile, the MacBook Air is expected to make the jump to OLED in 2028, but it will keep the notch design for now.
What do you think? Should Apple replace the MacBook Pro’s notch with a hole-punch cutout? And would you like to see the Dynamic Island on a MacBook? Hit the reply button and let us know your thoughts!

⌚️ Apple Watch Set to Upgrade from LTE to 5G
Apple Watch has supported LTE since the Series 3 in 2017, but it's remained stuck on 4G while the rest of the smartphone market has embraced 5G. That’s about to change, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Apple is reportedly planning to switch its modem supplier and bring 5G to the Apple Watch for the first time. This upgrade will involve replacing Intel's modems with new 5G modems from MediaTek, enabling support for 5G RedCap, a lower-tier 5G service designed for wearables and devices that don’t need fast data speeds.
This move will align Apple Watch with the current 5G trend in smartphones and is expected to debut with the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3 model. The shift to 5G, combined with an exciting satellite feature in the works, promises to make the Apple Watch even more powerful and connected than ever before.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 to Support Texting via Satellite The next-generation Apple Watch Ultra 3 is set to take outdoor exploration to the next level with satellite connectivity for texting. According to reports, this new feature, expected to roll out in 2025, will allow users to send messages even when there’s no cellular service.
- Satellite Connectivity for Texting: The upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3 will allow users to send texts via satellite, even without cellular or Wi-Fi. This brings off-grid communication to the wrist, much like the iPhone 14 and newer models.
- Expanded Texting Capabilities: Initially limited to emergency messages, satellite texting in iOS 18 now supports regular texting, making it a game-changer for remote areas.
- Targeting Adventurers: With satellite texting, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is poised to become the go-to device for adventurers, hikers, and scuba divers, offering enhanced safety when away from cellular networks.
- Competing with Garmin: This feature allows Apple to compete with satellite-focused brands like Garmin, which specialize in off-grid communication devices.
- Free Connectivity: While satellite connectivity on iPhones comes with two years of free service, it's still unclear if Apple will charge for this on the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
- Modem Change: Future Apple Watches will switch to MediaTek modems, supporting 5G RedCap, a 5G service designed for wearables and connected devices with lower speed needs.
Get ready for the ultimate in off-grid communication and safety with the Apple Watch Ultra 3!
