🔥The iPhone 16 color lineup looks like the best in years

1The debut of the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro is now little more than a month away and recent leaks have even given us a glimpse into the color options Apple's preparing. And it looks like some of the best colors iPhone buyers going to have in years.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will arrive in a brand new rose option. Reports have indicated it won't resemble the rose gold of iPhones in the past, but rather sport a new look.

The new rose color has even been referred to as 'bronze,' giving us a hint of what the titanium-infused pink hue might look like.

The addition of rose joins some other changes to the Pro color options, which are expected to be: Grey, Rose, Space Black, and White.

The more affordable iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will get colors that are way bolder than last year’s iPhone 15 models, as seen with the dummy models above shared by Sonny Dickson.

Here’s the full iPhone 16 and 16 Plus color lineup: Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and White.

💓 Apple devices will be unlocked with only your heart

Passwords, Touch ID, and Face ID could all be a thing of the past, as Apple is working on a future where unlocking your devices is as easy as just holding a future iPhone or letting your Apple Watch sense your unique heart rhythm.

Everyone's heart has a unique rhythm, which the Apple Watch monitors through the ECG app. In a recently granted patent, Apple describes a technique for identifying users based on their unique cardiovascular measurements.

With this technology, you can unlock all your devices if you keep wearing your Apple Watch. Verifying your heart patterns instead of a password or a fingerprint scan increases security and speeds up your identification.

Currently, for example, you need to unlock your Apple Watch with a passcode to use it to unlock your Mac. Putting on your Watch and taking an ECG reading would allow you to unlock your Mac without entering a password or passcode. If you leave your watch on your wrist, you'll be authenticated to unlock your other devices.

🛜 iPhone 16 Pro Models Expected to Support Wi-Fi 7

iPhone 15 Pro models gained support for Wi-Fi 6E, while all iPhone 11 through iPhone 14 models support standard Wi-Fi 6. And rumors suggest that iPhone 16 Pro models expected to support Wi-Fi 7. It was also previously rumored by supply chain analyst Jeff Pu.

Wi-Fi 7 support would enable the devices to send and receive data over the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands simultaneously, resulting in faster Wi-Fi speeds, lower latency, and more reliable connectivity.

Wi-Fi 7 is expected to offer peak theoretical data transfer speeds of over 40 Gbps, a 4× increase over Wi-Fi 6E.

🧐 Apple Vision Pro has been controlled by a brain computer interface

Synchron has successfully implanted a brain-computer interface (BCI) into the brain of Mark, a 64-year-old man with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). With this BCI, Mark is able to control an Apple Vision Pro — something he couldn't do before due to the loss of function in his arms and hands.

There's a reason Synchron has chosen the Apple Vision Pro — it blends reality with digital content. This means that while wearing the headset, users do not feel cut off from the real world.

Mark uses the BCI to move a cursor around a screen while he plays solitaire, to pick videos to watch in a theater-like experience, and to send text messages.

Once implanted, the BCI can detect motor intent, like when a user thinks about tapping their foot, to control elements of the interface that normally rely on gestures.

The system is designed to be easy to use and could improve the quality of life for millions of people with paralysis.

In November 2022, the company had begun clinical trials of the same implant which allowed users to control their iPad or iPhone with their thoughts.
